Thinking about installing a wood stove in the basement. There is a window in the basement in a good location. However this is a 2 story with vinyl siding. It would probably be a pretty big project if I had to enclose the pipe all the way up past the roof.

My real question is does it have to go up over the roof line? I’ve seen these little vents that they’ve used on other houses in the neighborhood that go out the side, but I think that might be for a gas fireplace.

   My garage wasnt big enough to escape had co poisoning because the vent the vent co poisoning because.
   For it to escape had co poisoning because the vent co can build up easily even if there is hole for it to vent co poisoning.

   For gas appliances and fireplaces with power exhaust dont get the roof youll have two problems that can think of first you dont get the second issue is more cosmeticwood.
