How do I know If my wood stove is ready for safe use?

I’m moving into a house with a wood burning stove, and i’m excited to use it, but I’m not sure if its ready for use. How can I be sure? Also, what do I need to do to use it safely, I’m new to wood stoves.

      For you use it every day your hardware store will have chimney fire the product keep on hand is called chimfex.
