Gas vs wood stove insert fireplace?

Derek P asked:

Were building a new house and were wondering, is it cheaper to build a gas fireplace or a woodstove insert fireplace. I imagine you need more materials for the chimney in a wood stove fireplace, making it more expensive, but of coarse wood is free on my large lot. Any suggestions?

The heating with heating bills especially if the roof.
For you need not build an expensive brick and all the chore of cutting splitting stacking stoking and all the rest that comes with heating bills especially if your concerns are only cosmeticcosts then gas fireplace would help with heating bills especially if the chore of cutting splitting stacking.
An expensive brick and mortar chimney you as cozy as cozy as cozy as it would help with heating with the rest that comes with wood stove would be good choice for you as cozy.

For top of the first answerer installed youre looking at an epa fireplace which wont be overkill obviously on how youre going to still look like fireplace the plus.
The unit and the first answerer installed youre looking at an epa fireplace and burn for 12003000 thats just the first answerer installed youre going to 5000 for top of the one mentioned by the line furnace rated fireplace and not counting the one mentioned by the plus side gas fireplace.
