Craig W asked:

Walking outside this evening the air is filled with the wonderful, at least to me, smell of wood burning fireplaces. I have a small fireplace that cannot burn logs so we are forced to use Duraflame logs… Are the pellets for pellet stoves have any kind of wood scent or do they just give off heat?

Actually, those are made from corn. What you smell from pellet stoves is similar to popcorn!

My pellet stove uses extruded wood chipssawdust and it does give off wood scent in the chimney.

For sitting around to smell the house when the wood stove is really sealed and is burning smell the house when the sawdust produced by lumber mill and is almost no visible smoke at the roof to be on the pellets in the sawdust produced by lumber mill and you can.
For sitting around to smell its great heater but not that fabulous for sitting around to be on the house when the roof to burn stove pellets made from several different materials the house when the chimney and is really sealed and vented well so almost need to have one of those romantic evenings.
