Do you think there is any problem using that type of wood to burn. I would keep the the flue cleaned out. Where would I buy the stove pipe to install it at? Also what is the best and easiest way to cut a 6″ hole thro a concrete block wall? and tips or suggestions? I am trying to keep our home warm on a budget..

However, the stove sits on brick with laminate wood boards on two sides. Is this up to code? I can’t seem to find where the codes are listed. He lives in Washington state.

I’ve been looking at the large (heats 2,200 sq ft) Pleasant Hearth wood stove at Lowes. It’s made in the USA. I’m sure as with all products the claims about how much area it actually heats is probably overrated but it comes with a 5 year limited warrenty and the guy at Lowes said they will take it back if I’m not happy with it.
Anyway, does anyone have one of these stoves? What can you tell me about them?
